Cooking Tips: Conventional cooking to Crock-Pot cooking

If the recipe says to cook the food for 15-30 minutes of cooking time, use your slow-cooker on low 4-8 hours or 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours on high; for 30-60 minutes of cooking time; cook on low 6-8 hours or 3-4 hours on high; and for 1-3 hours of cooking time: cook on low 8-16 hours or 4-6 hours on high. Cooking times may also vary depending on what specifically you are cooking, and you may want to add in vegetables, rice, etc. after the meal has been cooking for awhile.
