2 4oz. cans whole peeled green Ortega chiles
2 eggs

Butter the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish and line with strips of chile. Sprinkle with grated cheese, add another layer of chiles and cheese, repeating until all is used.
Beat egg, milk and flour. Pour over the top and bake for 50 minutes at 350 or until top is dark golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes before cutting. Cut and serve.
