3/4 C buttermilk
3 T low-fat mayonnaise
2 T finely chopped fresh chives
1 T finely chopped fresh basil, or 1 tsp. dried
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. sugar
salt & pepper to taste
How to make this recipe:
Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Dressing will keep for about a week in the refrigerator. Makes 1 cup.
