Cola cake



A wonderful chocolate cake

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
3 Tbsp cocoa
1 cup Coca-Cola
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups minature marshmallows

For icing:
1/2 cup butter
3 Tbsp cocoa
6 Tbsp Coca-Cola
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Combine flour and sugar in a bowl. Melt butter; add cocoa and Coca-Cola and heat to boiling point. Cool slightly and pour over flour and sugar. Stir until blended.

Stir soda into buttermilk. Add buttermilk mixture, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Stir in marshmallows and pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan. This will be a thin batter with marshmallows coming to the top. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Frost with coca-cola icing.

Icing:
Combine butter,cocoa and Coca-Cola in saucepan; heat to boiling. Put sugar in a mixing bowl and slowly add hot mixture, beating until smooth. Add vanilla; stir in nuts and mix well. Pour over hot cake.
