Place cabbage, vinegar and sugar in a large, heavy pot. Cover and bring liquid to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1.5 hours or until cabbage is tender. Serve. Notes:
This dish may be made one day ahead. Refrigerate tightly covered.
