Glazed Ham



Traditional pineapple and brown sugar-glazed ham

Ingredients:
4-6 pound fully cooked ham
Whole cloves
1 can pineapple slices
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry mustard

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 F. Score the ham and insert cloves into ham.

Insert meat thermometer into the center of the ham, careful not to place tip on the bone.

Place ham in roasting pan and into the oven. Bake uncovered 1-1.5 hours until internal temperature reaches 140 F.

While ham is baking, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar and mustard in a small saucepan. Simmer until mixture carmelizes.

During last hour of baking, remove ham from oven and place pineapple slices on ham with toothpicks. Pour a portion of the glaze over the ham and put ham back in oven.

Continue basting ham with the glaze mixture every 15 minutes until ham is warmed through.

Remove ham from oven and let stand for ten minutes before slicing.
