1 cup long grain white rice
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 stick of butter or margarine
2 cans Beef Consomme condensed soup
1 small jar of sliced mushrooms
How to make this recipe:
Melt butter in frying pan. Add rice and chopped onion and saute until rice turns light brown. Pour into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.
Pour soup into the rice and add the drained mushrooms. Stir. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve with pot Roast with carrots, green beans, brown rice, hot rolls, and sweet tea!
Notes: This is wonderful with any beef dish. My family and friends always request it!
