6 medium potatoes
1-2 egg yolks
1 1/2 ts. salt
Lots of flour
How to make this recipe:
Peel potatoes
Boil potatoes in a small quantity of water
Drain potatoes thoroughly - DO NOT WASH
Place potatoes in bowl and mash
Add flour and egg(s)
Continue mixing and kneading
Shape potatoes into fist sized balls
Drop dumplings into boiling water and boil gently about 5 minutes
Drain dumplings on paper towel
Melt butter in frying pan or microwave
Dip dumplings in better while you enjoy them!
1 - 1 1/2 hours
