Chicken Alfredo



A very easy, rich dinner favorite.

Ingredients:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed
1 box fetticine
1 jar Alfredo sauce (or make your own if you have the time and energy!)
2 T. olive oil
1/2 t. basil*
1/2 t. oregano*
1/2 t. garlic salt*
* or use any Italian spices of your choice (~1 1/2 t. total)

Directions:
Set water to boil to cook the pasta. Cut chicken breasts into 1/4" pieces (basically, so they're bite size), and pat dry. In a large bowl, mix spices. In a sautee pan, heat olive oil over moderately high heat. Toss chicken in spices. Stir-fry chicken in olive oil until lightly browned and cooked through. Meanwhile, prepare fetticine according to package directions and warm the Alfredo sauce. When everything is cooked, place 1/4 the pasta onto each plate. Top with 1/4 the chicken, and then with 1/4 of the sauce. Serve immediately. Great w/ garlic bread or salad!


Prep time: 20 minutes

Serves 4.

Not very good for you, but oh so tasty! A real treat!
