Heat oil and butter in a large skillet on medium-high and fry pork chops until brown on both sides. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 45 minutes or until tender. Remove pork chops and stir sauce to thoroughly combine. Serve with "Oven Baked Yellow Rice" (posted on site) or your favorite rice or noodles. You may substitute diced boneless pork or country-style pork spare ribs if preferred.
