1 stick of margarine
1 half cup packed brown sugar

Melt butter in water and place the liver in the water. Sprinkle half the sugar over the top, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn liver, add a bit more water if needed, add remaaining sugar, and the onions and simmer 15 minutes more. Serve. Serve with a tossed green salad and fresh bread rolls. Great way to get people to eat liver, is tender, slightly sweet, and pleasant to the palate. Prep time: 25 minutes Serves 4 or 5.
